Service Technician

Lindinvent is now looking for a service technician who wants to develop within building automation, operational optimization, and technical service in modern and energy-efficient buildings. The Role As a service technician at Lindinvent, you will have an independent and developing role where you become a central part in ensuring reliable and optimized systems for our customers. You will work closely with colleagues and project managers but drive your service assignments with great personal responsibility.

The role involves performing service, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of our products and solutions within demand-controlled ventilation and building automation. You will work in both newly constructed and existing buildings, where you are responsible for commissioning, balancing, and optimizing our systems. Through careful documentation, good planning, and close dialogue with the customer, you ensure that the facilities operate efficiently and deliver high indoor environmental quality.

As an important contact person in the field, you also help create long-term customer relationships. You listen to the customer's needs, identify improvement opportunities, and contribute to ensuring that our solutions maintain high quality throughout their lifecycle.

Responsibilities In the role of service technician, you will, among other things:

• Independently plan, drive, and execute service assignments.
• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and repairs of our products.
• Be responsible for commissioning, balancing, and operational optimization of our systems within building automation and ventilation.
• Work in close consultation with customers, project managers, and colleagues.
• Document your assignments in our work order management system.
• Handle new installations in both new and existing buildings.
• Make purchases of project materials and manage internal orders.
• Prepare and evaluate cost proposals for smaller service assignments.
• Represent Lindinvent professionally in all customer meetings.

You will be based at the regional office in Umeå and spend most of your working time at our customers in the region.

You thrive in a role where you independently drive your work while communicating clearly and professionally with colleagues, customers, and partners. You are attentive, solution-oriented, and confident in facing various technical challenges.

We would like you to have:

• High school education focused on electrical, automation, operations/maintenance, data, or equivalent.
• Alternatively, a vocational education in operations, HVAC, automation, electrical, networking, or similar.
• 3–5 years of experience as a service technician or in a similar technical role.
• Good understanding of control and electrical systems and an interest in IT and building automation.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and flowcharts.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Driver's license (B).

Meritorious:

• Experience with CAD.
• Knowledge of CRM systems, preferably Lime.

You will be based at Lindinvent's regional office in Gothenburg, and there may be travel involved to our other offices.
